First automotive cluster in Europe to obtain this recognition from the “European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA)”. Renewals: 2013/2016/2019/2022. Score obtained 2022: 97%.
Award for "Best Accelerator" 2020
Award in the category of “Best Accelerator” granted by the South Europe Startup Awards to the BFA initiative. It is one of the most prestigious entrepreneurship competitions in the world.
Award for "Best Practice" 2019
Award for “Best Practice” granted by the European Association of Regional Development Agencies (EURADA) to the BFA initiative, for contributing to the economic growth and improving the competitiveness of companies in the automotive sector.
Mobility Startup Europe House 2019
The Business Factory Auto (BFA), promoted by CEAGA, has been recognized by the Startup Europe Awards initiative of the Finnova Foundation and DG Connect, as the first “Mobility Startup Europe House” for promoting essential values for the European Commission such as innovation, entrepreneurship or Europeanism.
Best Cluster Initiative in Industrial Modernization 2019
Awarded by the European Commission to the “European Automotive Cluster Network for Joint Industrial Modernisation Investments” (EACN project). This initiative, co-funded under the COSME programme, was promoted by a consortium made of 6 regional clusters in Europe (among we can find CEAGA).
EFMD Excellence in Practice Award 2013
In 2013, the prestigious European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) awarded the CEAGA Corporate University (UCC) with the “Excellence in Practice Award” in the “Network Partnership” special category, for its Management and Development of New Products Programme.

Since 2007, CEAGA is included in the Register for Innovative Business Groupings of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, what confirms our relevant role and the compliance of the following requirements: sectorial representativity, critical mass of companies, integration of research and training organizations, appropriate organizational and coordination structures, financial sustainability, innovative potential, international presence, and the existence of its own strategic plan.
Best collaborative project between clusters 2022
Prize awarded to CEAGA and seven national automotive clusters for the launch of the ‘Forum of Excellence 4.0’ collaborative project. The award was presented during the 10th Congress of Innovative Clusters and Business Groups within the framework of the 2022 Business Collaboration Awards, organized by the National Federation of Innovative Business Groups and Clusters (clusters.es).

Award in the “Best Hub” category granted to the BFA for the Startup Olé initiative, one of the most prestigious international entrepreneurship and innovation events.
1st National Sustainable Mobility Award
1st National Sustainable Mobility Award in the “NGO, Foundation, Association” category awarded to the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative, promoted by CEAGA. These awards have the support of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and recognize good practices and initiatives in mobility, both in the public and private sectors.
Award for the "Best Disseminated Project" 2018
Award in the category “Best Disseminated Project” granted by the National Federation of Innovative Business Groupings and Clusters (Fenaeic), which recognizes the communication plan deployed by CEAGA and the BFA promoters for the dissemination of the accelerator and the participating projects.
Award for the "Best Practice developed in Science and Technology Parks" 2018
The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) awarded the BFA with the “Best Practice in Science and Technology Parks” recognition.
"Industry 4.0 Grouped Projects" Award
In 2020, CEAGA and 15 SMEs won the first award of the call for “Industry 4.0 Grouped Projects “, granted by the Galician government. The proposal presented by CEAGA, which includes 15 digital transformation projects led by SMEs, obtained the highest valuation. CEAGA has won this award during four consecutive years (2016/2017/2018/2020).
Award “Honorary citizen of Vigo”
In 2015, the Vigo City Council awarded the “Honorary citizen of Vigo” award to the Galician Automotive Sector for its influence on the economy and for its merits in serving the city and its metropolitan area.
