RESIST – Auto Resilience Plan

  • EC regulations and competition from low-cost countries (Africa and Asia) with different requirements generate a very complex situation, which is analyzed and gives rise to the creation of the strategic plan PCAM 2030 with 36 action plans.
  • The work embodied in the PCAM 2030 led to the implementation of the Automotive Master Plan, carried out in collaboration with the Galician Government, with a budget of 234 million euros.
  • First materialization of the Master Plan: launching of the extraordinary funding plan for suppliers auto 2024: 60 companies benefited and 11.3 million in subsidies. Call for 2025 with another 14 million.
  • Only autonomous community with an extraordinary self-support plan with continuity.
  • As a result: Cluster companies invested 167 million, 27% more than the average of the last 5 years and €50 million in R&D.
  • Open innovation platform at work. Connects companies with challenges and solution providers. Generated 5 consortia and collaborative projects with more than 40 companies.

COMPETE 2030 – Industrial Excellence Plan

  • Fierce competitive environment that makes it necessary to promote industrial excellence in all areas of the companies that make up CEAGA.
  • Commitment to Lean Manufacturing, channeled mainly through the Lean Expert Development Plan: More than 514 Lean Managers trained from 51 companies and 465 Lean projects successfully implemented and audited.
  • Implementation of the Benchmanager Project to mea- sure the current competitive situation of each company and its evolution compared to other companies in the sector, detecting areas for improvement and executing a collaboration program for improvement.
  • Preparation of the Sector Competitiveness Report to measure the competitive level of the entire automotive value chain in Galicia.
  • As a result, more competitive companies: which serves as a lever to, with the support of CEAGA, obtain new contracts both within the sector and abroad. Strong boost to exports.

Business Factory Auto & Mobility (BFA)

  • Project started in 2016, promoted by the Galician Government, the Free Trade Zone Consortium of Vigo, Stellantis and CEAGA.
  • Objective: to identify, accelerate and consolidate specialized automotive projects and transform them into viable and scalable innovative companies that attract and retain talent
  • Support to entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
  • Two programmes: acceleration (for newly created companies) and consolidation (for more mature companies).
  • More than 90 companies created, 103 million euros in turnover and 869 jobs generated.

CEAGA Project Office

  • Project launched in 2021 with the support of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape).
  • Its objective is to help attract the necessary funding to start up the projects of the companies in the Sector.
  • It provides three fundamental services: surveillance and radar of published calls for aid; technical support in the presentation of candidatures; support in the execution, implementation and justification of projects.
  • Nearly 350 executives from 160 companies regularly receive the Office's newsletter with information on the latest aid.
  • More than 200 individual meetings held with companies to learn about their projects.
