This morning, at the headquarters of CEAGA in Zona Franca, were presented the economic figures of the Galician Automotive Sector corresponding to the last exercise. The meeting was attended by the President of CEAGA, José Luciano Martínez Covelo, who was accompanied by the Vice president of the Cluster and Director of the Iberian Industrial Pole of the PSA Group, Frédéric Puech.
The Galician Automotive Cluster grew during the year 2016, reaching 8,320 million euros of turnover, which represents an increase of 1.60% over the previous year. The Sector also increased its employment, investment and R & D expenditures.

• 19.850 total employees
• More tan 45.100 direct and indirect employees
• Turnover of 8.320 million Euros
• 29% of the total exports in Galicia
