Yesterday, January 17th, the Presidency of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative, formed by the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Galician Government, the Consortium of Zona Franca Vigo, the PSA Group and CEAGA, visited the nine participating companies to know the equipment and the project of each one.

The new constituent companies cover the four typologies that included the BFA bases (startups, one company spin-out, several companies spin-outs y spin-offs) and will strengthen the Galician Automotive Sector, as are companies in many different areas such as: product development, services or process improvement.

During this event, the CEAGA President, José Luciano Martínez Covelo, highlighted the high level of the participating companies, which currently employ 36 people with forecasts to increase this figure in the future.

For the Manager of Process Innovation in PSA Vigo, Juan José Areal, the BFA initiative constitutes ”an instrument of development, innovation and creation of shared value”. In addition, the Delegate of the Zona Franca Vigo, Teresa Pedrosa, highlighted this ”example of public-private collaboration”. For his part, the Regional Minister of Economy, Francisco Conde, emphasized the vocation of permanence of this initiative, which will launch three editions.
