Last Friday, CEAGA held the final of the Talent Race 2025 challenge competition to attract talent from universities and vocational training centres to companies in the Galician Automotive and Mobility Cluster.

Thanks to this initiative, which began in 2024, companies in the Cluster have already been able to recruit new professionals for key positions. In addition to facilitating connections between students and companies through the completion of Final Degree Projects supervised by companies in the sector.

Through a platform launched by CEAGA, 18 companies presented real industry challenges for students to propose solutions, thereby making themselves known in the automotive and mobility ecosystem, enabling them to share spaces with professionals, visit companies and access internship and scholarship opportunities.

In this second edition, contestants responded to challenges related to industrial operations. A jury composed of industry professionals analysed the students’ responses, and the three best candidates defended their proposals on Friday. The winners were two students from the University of Vigo: Javier Giráldez and David Pereira, who responded to the challenges as part of their final degree projects at Constellium and Denso, respectively.

In the coming months, further visits to the participating companies’ plants are planned, where the university community will be able to continue learning about the production processes and the functioning of the sector at first hand. In addition, companies will be able to continue posting scholarships and final degree and master projects opportunities through the platform.
