The Galician Automotive Cluster (CEAGA) has launched, together with other 8 European automotive clusters, the European Automotive Cluster Network (EACN) with the aim to promote cooperatives projects in the areas of product, production, processes and people (4Ps).

This association is formed by Cluster Automotive-bw (Germany), Bayern Innovativ (Germany), el Cluster de la Indústria d´Automoció de Catalunya (Spain), el Cluster de Empresas de Automoción de Galicia (Spain), European Automotive Strategy Network (Holland), Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (Bulgaria), Pôle Véhicle du Futur (France), el Automobile Cluster Serbia (Serbia) y el Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing (Poland).

With this initiative, the clusters organizations try to improvement the relationship between their members and other clusters, to impulse innovation and cooperation projects, to development together new products, solutions and process, to generate new business, as well as attending European calls.

The Clusters will focus its joint activities in the field of Industry 4.0 or Factory of the Future, relying on the following strategic points:

• Product: new materials, new concept of vehicle, etc.
• Production: manufacture of additives, optimization of the supply chain, etc.
• Process: digitization, new and innovative production tools, etc.
• People: environment at work, training, skills 4.0 and talent, etc.

Overall, these clusters bring together more than 1,400 companies and research institutes, of which more than half are small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition, its employ more than 300,000 people.
