Last October 11th a new workshop of the Lean Experts Network took place in the PSA Peugeot Citroën Vigo. This initiative organized by CEAGA aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience among enterprises with regard to Lean implementation.
This new session had as the main topic: “Sustained employability: ergonomics and improvement of the workplaces” and “Security and health at work” and it was addressed to General Managers.
This work session was divided into two main parts. The first one was focused on explaining the actions being undertaken by PSA Peugeot Citroën Centre of Vigo related to sustained employability. Presentation was completed with a visit to its physiotherapy room, as well as a practical exercise in field observation about the ergonomic conditions of different workplaces.
In the second part of the meeting the topic of security and health at work was dealt with and was completed with the observation, in terms of security, of different plant areas.
The Lean Experts Network has developed other sessions at important Sector companies, such as: Faurecia Automotive, Denso or GKN. Thus, with the consolidation of this initiative, the Cluster keeps on working for the total implementation of Lean Manufacturing in the CEAGA member companies.
