CEAGA and seven other national automotive clusters have received an award for the launch of the collaborative project ‘Forum of Excellence 4.0’. This initiative was born in 2021 with the aim of boosting the automotive sector and sharing good practices of digitization and innovation 4.0 implemented in different industrial factories.

The award was presented during the 10th Congress of Innovative Clusters and Business Groups within the framework of the 2022 Business Collaboration Awards, organized by the National Federation of Innovative Business Groups and Clusters (clusters.es). Specifically, the ‘Forum of Excellence 4.0’ initiative was the winner in the category of Best collaborative project between clusters.

This project has provided first-hand knowledge of the transformation process of different companies associated with the clusters in order to share knowledge and evaluate the possibility of launching tractor projects that are transversal to the entire industry and to all territories. So far, eleven sessions have been held with the presentation of more than 20 success stories and the participation of more than 2,000 attendees.

In addition to CEAGA, the following clusters also cooperate in this project: AEI Rioja (Innovative Business Association of the Automotive Sector of La Rioja), AVIA (Valencian Association of the Automotive Industry), CAAR (Aragon Automotive Cluster Association), CIAC (Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Catalonia), FACYL (Automotive Forum of Castilla y León), ACAN (Automotive Cluster Association of Navarra) and GIRA (Group of Regional Automotive Initiatives).
