The Business Factory Auto has received the award for the ”Best Disseminated Project” within the framework of the VI National Congress of Clusters, held yesterday in Madrid. With this award, the communication plan, deployed by the Cluster of Automotive Companies of Galicia (CEAGA) and the promoters of the BFA for the diffusion of the accelerator and the participating projects, is recognized.

The communication plan of the Business Factory Auto is led by CEAGA and supported by the Xunta de Galicia, Groupe PSA and the Consortium of the Zona Franca de Vigo, with the aim of supporting and contributing to the impulse of entrepreneurs.

On the occasion of the National Congress of Clusters, organized by Clusters.es, the Awards for Business Collaboration are delivered annually. This year they had five categories, one of which is the ”Best Disseminated Project”, awarded to CEAGA by the Business Factory Auto project.

An award was also given to the media that best transmits the values of collaborative innovation, granted to the economic newspaper Expansión, and another award to the public administration with the most effective political action, awarded to the Head of Unit Advanced Technologies, Clusters and Social Economy at European Commission, Ulla Engelmann.

The sixth edition of the National Congress of Clusters has brought together representatives of innovative companies, clusters, AEI and regional innovation development agencies. This year has also had the presence of the Head of Unit Advanced Technologies, Clusters and Social Economy at European Commission, Ulla Engelmann, as well as the Deputy Director General of Digitalization of Industry and Collaborative Environments of the Ministry of Industry, Jordi Llinares, and the President of the National Federation of Clusters and AEIs (Fenaeic), Antonio Novo.

The communication plan has contributed to the positive balance of the BFA, reinforcing the name and image of an ambitious initiative that is already key to the Automotive Sector of Galicia. In 2018, the BFA has received a national award (for the ”Best Practice” by the Association of Technology and Business Parks of Spain) and has been named ”regional partner” in the Startup Europe Awards, being the first automotive accelerator in Europe in getting it.

Since its launch, the BFA initiative has added 35 new companies created, more than 150 jobs generated and a forecast at the end of the year of 10 million euros in turnover. Its third edition, which started last October, reached the record number of 62 projects submitted from 9 different countries, becoming the most international edition.
