The students of the fourth edition of the “Management and Development of New Products” Program, launched by CEAGA in 2010, finished the practical visits to different companies, including the automotive industry and other productive sectors.

All the companies visited by the students have shown an excellent aptitude, so the visits were a great training experience. This great reception by the companies remarks the big spirit of collaboration that characterizes the Galician Automotive Sector.

In this occasion, last May 16th, the students visited, firstly, the facilities of Benteler, which develops chassis product (rear axles and stamping). The tour follows the normal productive process of the factory, starting for the cold stamping, hot stamping, welding and finishing for the warehouse.

Then, the participants visited the facilities of Grupo Antolín PGA in Porriño, dedicated to the manufacturer of components of sheet, tube, profiles, in steel and aluminum. The tour by the factory was focus on knowing the SP zone, the garage and the welding zone.

Finally, the future leaders of projects made a visit to the facilities of Galician company Viza, which manufactures front and rear seat frames. This training visit was focus on the process of developing of new products for several car manufacturers.

Next July this new edition of the GDNP will finish with the presentation of four new innovative projects, with a real application for the sector companies.
