The DIGIFACT project was born out of the need for companies to take advantage of digitalisation and new technologies to improve their internal efficiency. It is a project with a clear focus on the customer. Using cutting-edge technologies, the aim of DIGIFACT is to improve information flows between the characteristics of customer orders and the needs and requirements of production lines. To this end, the participating companies have relied on data analytics, predictive analytics, connectivity and Business Intelligence to increase control over their production processes and optimise internal and customer communication interfaces.

The Kaizen Institute acted as technology provider, while the sector companies Grupo Tecnogap, Maier Ferroplast, SMRC Automotive Interior Spain and Componentes de Vehículos de Galicia were in charge of testing the innovative solutions developed in their plants. The project has been coordinated by CEAGA and the Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Aragon, CAAR, has led the dissemination of results.

Thanks to this project, the testing companies have been able to reduce errors, improve decision-making and modify production plans in real time, monitor indicators with digital mobility devices and generate models that are fully applicable to other companies in the sector.
