The Galician Automotive and Mobility Cluster (CEAGA) has been designated by the European Union to lead the only Eurocluster in the mobility, transport and automotive ecosystem.
The aim of this Eurocluster is to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting innovation and the adoption of new technologies. To this end, through the European RESIST project, €1.6 million in cascade funding will be mobilised for SMEs with innovation projects related to zero-emission technologies or critical raw materials. Galician SMEs will be able to access up to €60,000 in aid for innovation projects, both in terms of processes and products and services.
Small and medium-sized enterprises will also be able to benefit from access to key information, webinars on best practices, and personalised coaching and mentoring services, networking, training, and internationalisation.
CEAGA will be joined in this initiative by five other European partners from countries such as France, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine, with whom it met on 9 October in Brussels as part of the launch of Eurocluster, in which the European Commission also participated.
This new European milestone comes on top of the recent achievement of the Gold Label seal of excellence awarded by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), with a score of 98%, positioning CEAGA as the only Galician cluster with this level of accreditation and the highest rated nationally.
This initiative is co-financed by the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME), through the European Commission’s call for proposals “Joint Cluster Initiatives (EUROCLUSTERS) for Europe’s recovery”.
