The INTEGRA-AI project, led by CEAGA, aims to design, develop and validate an intelligent system for industrial production planning and sequencing based on artificial intelligence. The initiative forms part of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism’s support programme for AEIs.

INTEGRA-AI proposes the development of an intelligent solution capable of integrating with existing plant information systems and processing key operational data from multiple sources, such as customer orders, stock levels, operator availability, planned or unplanned downtime, line performance and demand forecasts. By training artificial intelligence models using real historical data provided by participating companies, the system will incorporate critical variables for planning, such as stock-out forecasts and actual material availability, thereby improving on-time delivery, logistics efficiency and the ability to respond to incidents.

The project involves the implementation and validation of the solution in two industrial environments with different levels of digital maturity: the lead company, Maier Ferroplast, where a strategic solution with a higher degree of automation and predictive capability will be developed; and the SME, Grupo Tecnogap, where a more tactical approach will be applied, using a tool that can be implemented quickly and is less technically complex.

In addition to these two companies, INTEGRA-AI involves the Kaizen Institute and receives support from CAAR, thereby strengthening collaboration between organisations and the transfer of results to the industrial sector. The project will be carried out under grant reference AEI-010500-2025-42 with a total budget of €242,391.00 and a grant of €107,249.00.
