On Friday 29 May, 200 professionals attended the CEAGA Assembly, an event that once again highlighted the strength of Galicia’s automotive and mobility ecosystem and the commitment to continue moving forward together amidst a period of profound industrial transformation.
The day began with an industry networking session, where companies were able to discuss topics of interest to them and convey their future needs to CEAGA.
During the main part of the day, the Cluster’s manager, Alberto Cominges, took stock of the figures and the main projects implemented by the Cluster. As part of the programme, Javier Recuenco gave a talk entitled “How to tackle seemingly impossible challenges in the automotive industry and survive the 21st century”, in which he analysed how organisations can cope with increasingly complex and changing environments.
During the meeting, CEAGA’s president, Patricia Moreira, and José Luis Alonso Mosquera, director of Stellantis Vigo, shared their views on the current state of the sector and the outlook for the automotive and mobility industry in Galicia.
The Assembly also received institutional backing from the Regional Government of Galicia. The President, Alfonso Rueda, and the Regional Minister for Economy and Industry, María Jesús Lorenzana, took part in the closing ceremony, expressing their support for an industry that is strategic to the Galician economy and acknowledging its contribution to industrial development, innovation and job creation.
