CEAGA is participating, alongside a group of leading entities from the industrial and territorial ecosystem, in the CIRCULINK project, an industrial research initiative aimed at improving resource management in urban and industrial environments through the integration of the circular economy, artificial intelligence and multisectoral digitalisation. The project is being developed within the framework of the AEI 2025 call for proposals, under the challenge ‘Smart and climate-neutral cities’.

CIRCULINK aims to develop, implement and experimentally validate an advanced digital platform that will optimise the use of resources and reduce environmental impacts, promoting more sustainable and efficient models. To this end, the project will address the design of a modular and interoperable solution, the incorporation of artificial intelligence models for the intelligent matching of resource supply and demand, and its validation in real environments, ensuring its practical applicability.

The project is conceived as a collaborative industrial research initiative, with special emphasis on the replicability and scalability of the solution, and involves the participation of, in addition to CEAGA; FOQUM; GEOSLAB; GO ZERO WASTE; AVENTEC; ENDEF; Las Rozas Innova; Catalan Water Partnership; SOLARTYS, solar energy and sustainability cluster; and Smart City Cluster.

The project will run from 16 September 2025 to 27 August 2026, under file number AEI-010700-2025-9, with the aim of contributing to the transition towards smarter, more efficient and climate-neutral cities.
