Top-level professionals from companies in the automotive and mobility industry met yesterday in Vigo at a workshop organised by CEAGA to offer sector leaders a practical and multidisciplinary vision that allows them to anticipate and respond effectively to the challenges of the environment, strengthening their competitiveness through strategic analysis and the intelligent use of legal and financial resources.
The “Business Resilience” meeting, given by the leading consultancy firm Deloitte, dealt with topics of great interest for the competitiveness of companies in the sector, such as the importance of financial planning; intelligent funding; and legal and financial keys for managing complex situations. In addition, a successful case of business refinancing was analysed.
The last part of the day, which was opened by the President of CEAGA, Patricia Moreira, focused on a structured group work dynamic so that the companies could share their problems and needs in the financial field. The conclusions of each of the working groups were presented to the Xunta de Galicia by Norberto Penedo, Director of the Competitiveness Area of Igape, who was in charge of closing the event. Raquel Rodríguez, Director of XesGalicia, also participated. The objectives were: to work together, share knowledge, identify common strategies and convey the position and needs of the cluster to the Galician government.
The differential element of this workshop lies in the importance of working together on the levers that the sector has to reinforce its sustainability in an adverse context. The aim was to provide attendees with management strategies to ensure financial sustainability.
This conference is funded by Igape through the programme ‘Multidisciplinary workshops on digitalisation, sustainability and advanced logistics for the year 2024’. It is an effective collaboration meeting and is part of the Competitiveness Plan of the Galician Automotive and Mobility Ecosystem – PCAM 2030, specifically in the Action Plan ‘Reactivation of the sector’.
