Last Friday 23rd, CEAGA held its company assembly, bringing together 160 professionals from the automotive and mobility sector in Galicia to review the past year and share future challenges and strategies.

The Cluster’s General Manager, Alberto Cominges, presented an overview of the figures and main projects carried out. In addition, Sandra Fernández, Director of CEAGA’s Joint Purchasing Department, spoke about the importance of energy for the sector’s competitiveness. Patricia Eijo, also from CEAGA, introduced the collaborative platform aimed at driving joint projects.

To reflect on the current sociopolitical context, which significantly affects the smooth running of businesses, the event featured a keynote speech by Marcos Urarte, a geopolitical strategy expert, who analyzed the impact of the current environment on the automotive industry.

To close the event, Patricia Moreira, President of CEAGA, addressed the audience, having been reappointed for another two-year term with the support of the member companies. José Luis Alonso Mosquera, Director of Stellantis Vigo, also shared key insights on the sector’s challenges and opportunities. The event concluded with remarks by Alfonso Rueda, President of the Xunta de Galicia, reaffirming the institutional commitment to the sector’s competitiveness.
