The Galician Automotive and Mobility Cluster (CEAGA) has managed to renew for the fifth consecutive time the Gold Label seal of excellence awarded by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), achieving a score of 98% which places CEAGA in second position in the EU situating as a European benchmark for excellence in cluster management, endorsing the quality of its processes, its capacity for collaboration, and its impact on the competitiveness of the sector. It is also the only Galician cluster with this level of accreditation and the highest rated nationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gold Label certification process, developed by independent international experts, evaluates more than 31 key indicators related to strategy, organizational structure, services to Cluster member companies, financing, and results obtained. After successfully passing the exhaustive audit, ESCA highlighted CEAGA’s main strengths: the organization’s growth trajectory, with a notable increase in member companies; the quality of the team; its strategic plan; and its successful projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gold Label places CEAGA at the forefront of European clusters and strengthens its international visibility, facilitating access to new opportunities for collaboration and funding in R&D&I projects. It also allows it to be part of the Cluster Excellence Expert Group (CEEG), one of the main interlocutors with the European Commission on clusters and industrial policy, of which CEAGA has been the chair since 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis recognition reflects the joint effort of all the companies and entities that form part of CEAGA. The score achieved demonstrates not only the maturity of our ecosystem, but also our ability to continue leading high-impact projects for the industry,\u201d said Patricia Moreira, president of CEAGA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gold Label is the highest international recognition in cluster management and its importance is reflected in several areas, but mainly it is a guarantee of excellence and professionalism, as well as offering improved competitiveness for the ecosystem; access to international opportunities; prestige and reinforcement of the culture of continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA) is a body created to promote excellence in cluster management through benchmarking. This organisation was created within the framework of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), promoted in 2009 by the European Commission. Currently, there are around 1,500 accredited clusters in the European Union and only 45 have the Gold Label. CEAGA is the Spanish cluster with the highest score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
